Britain should stop acting as the “WORLD’S POLICEMAN” and leave it to the new world order of  much larger countries like USA and the BRIC countries of Brazil, Russia, India and China to sort out the Syrian Civil War.

The Victorian era of Britain’s dominance  in world affairs are long time past and we would be better advised to follow the example of Germany and Switzerland, who avoid involvement in world conflicts and concentrate their efforts in solving  their economic problems. Germany , the leading economic power in Europe, has already shaken off the five year recession and has the lowest unemployment levels in the western world.

Britain’s foray into Iraq was a total disaster and our inability to sort out the problems in our former colony of Zimbabwe is an absolute disgrace. After all we are responsible for the thirty years of suffering by the people of this poverty stricken country because we kicked out Ian Smith and replaced him with Mugabe in 1980 !

And what about the plight of Aung San Suu Kyi in another former British Colony, namely Burma. We have simply left her to take on the brutal Slorc  regime, with no military assistance, for over thirty years.

LET’S GET OUR PRIORITIES RIGHT BEFORE TACKLING SYRIA.
