I was informed last week that the Agents for Electricity North West had withdrawn their application for 3 detached 2-storey houses on the green space at the junction of Blackpool Road North and Kilnhouse Lane.

A smaller development had been suggested by Fylde Planning Officers, but this was deemed to be uneconomic and the Agents were also aware of the extent of local opposition to the original plan.

The paperwork for the “Village Green” has been with County Hall since September 2012 and I am still awaiting a decision.
